The Second Diskette

The second diskette contains enrichment material, including the complete text of publications, copies of transcripts, and some larger or more detailed images.
In most cases, you will have received only one diskette, and the pages listed here will not be available to you.

If you have Disk 2 in your package, there are two ways to proceed.
1. Copy all of the files from Disk 1 and Disk 2 into two directories (or subdirectories) on your hard drive.  You could also copy the shortcut, but you must change the target to the local copy of home1.htm for it to be useful. Directory

OR It is most convenient to drag and drop the folder from each diskette into a single directory.
2. Leave the files on the floppies, begin with Disk 1, and change to Disk 2 when you arrive here.

Changing the Win95  Shortcut

These instructions assume familiarity with your
MSWindows computing environment.
- Copy the icon to your desktop or a convenient folder
Drag and drop will create a suitable copy,
as will the key combination
CTRLC > CTRLV, or the
COPY > PASTE selection
on the right click menu.
- Right click the icon.  Select PROPERTIES.
The PROPERTIES window should appear.
- Select the SHORTCUT tab
The TARGET should read A:\Portfolio\home1.htm
- Change the target to HOME1.HTM in the directory
into which you moved the files.
For example: C:\JBTait\CurrentPortfolio\home1.htm
